What is the school’s vision and what informs it?
Statement:

Encouragement leads to Self-Belief and Self-Confidence. Self-Belief and Self-Confidence leads to Success. We believe that education is concerned with the development of the whole person academically, physically, socially, culturally, morally and spiritually. We believe that all children have the right to the best possible education, irrespective of gender, race, religion or ability. We believe that the educational process is a partnership involving the teachers, children, parents, Board of Governors and the local community.

We aim to:
- Develop each child to the full, to ensure that each and every child works to the best of their ability, whatever that ability might be.
- Help each child reach their full potential, experience success & feel proud in a chilled & relaxing family environment.
- Ensure all children have the right to a broad, balanced and relevant education that provides continuity and progression and takes individual differences into account. Work in school will be designed to meet the requirements of the NI Primary Curriculum.
- make “learning and the learners” a priority.
- provide a wide variety of learning experiences & opportunities within a broad and balanced curriculum.
- use a variety of teaching approaches and strategies to meet all learning needs.

Self Evaluation
As a whole school we gathered evidence using:
* ETI 5 core Questions and 9 contributory areas
* An analysis of stakeholder questionnaires
* Whole school ethos day
* Ethos Audit
Analysis found that:
- 100% of parents felt that “they are made feel welcome at the school’
- 100% of parents reported that their children are happy and enjoy coming to school.
- Many parents expressed overall happiness with the school and praised the teachers and staff. Parents are satisfied with the safe and nurturing environment provided by the school
- 100% of pupils say they are happy and feel safe at school. All pupil said that the Teachers are supportive, providing feedback and celebrating students' work.
- 100% Staff members are satisfied with the school's vision, leadership, teamwork, teaching quality, and support for students.
- Governors mentioned that the school provides a happy and welcoming environment for children to learn, have fun, and build friendships.
